Neck-level POV sits in an interesting position.

The Main Challenge: The Camera Can Move Independently

The convenience of neck mounting also creates its biggest challenge.

Unlike a chest harness that is tensioned around the torso, a neck mount can have more freedom to move away from the body.

During normal walking, that may not be a major problem.

But as movement becomes faster or more energetic, the camera can bounce, swing, or rotate independently from the wearer.

That changes the footage in a way stabilization cannot always fully hide.
